Video production, web design and PR agency Ypsilon from Osijek could not resist the 15th consecutive young and bottled wine tasting and evaluating manifestation of the Zadar area – VINCRO.

Sea, Church of St. Donat, Sea Organ, basketball - wine. Except for the last one, many people would deceivingly think of Zadar. At least once a year, top local experts gather  for wine tasting. Surely not just because of work.

In the flatland bay district, agriculturally oriented, among Benkovac and Biograd, near Zadar, a place called Polača is located. Winegrowers of the region gathered in Biograd on 15th consecutive Polača young and bottled wine tasting and evaluating manifestation. In a year marked with underripeness, early maturing and drought, local growers have succeeded in creating great wines with knowledge and effort. The competition between 42 red and 15 white opened wines, the champion became Cabernet sovignon by Tomislav Glavić from Nadina, whereas among the bottled wines  the same title took sovignon Cabernet from 2008. year, by the Benkovac winery Badel 1862. The event was held in Biograd, due to lack of organizers municipality logistics and the Polača Mayor, Viktor Prtenjača announced to modify this in the future and return the event to it's place of birth.

- This is recognition for my work, my love for wine and vineyard – said the champion Tomislav Glavić, announcing new wine inventions .

Gold medals in the category of white wines have won OPG Mate Dušević from Ljubač, Srećko Troskot from Zadar and Jure Dokoza from Radovine, while among the red wines, gold medals won took Tomislav Glavić, Mayor of Polača, Viktor Prtenjača for his Merlot Syrah, Ante Škaulj from Nadin and Robert Dragić from Savar.

Throughout the week, manifestation attracted a large number of visitors this year, united in the love for wine.
